I am only using Jigsaw DOMs of ES and YM side by side (John Grady style) with a time and sales of the ES. Since scalping, I think its much easier to go straight e mini. Otherwise I understand the losses and max draw down can be hefty. Obviously starting capital does need to be higher so that's an understandable barrier. You can try to just test profitibilty on 1 contract MES though, prove you are profitable then move to ES.
